QUOTATIONS AND PREMIUMS
The quotations provided on this site are intended as an indication only of the likely premium based on the information you provide. They are not binding quotations. If you decide you want to buy an WiseChoice policy, then we’ll ask you to confirm the information you’ve provided. If you fail to disclose any relevant information, or provide any inaccurate information, this may invalidate your insurance policy. If you do not answer our questions fully and honestly, this could result in a claim being rejected or reduced, additional terms imposed or your policy voided. If you provide us with information about other people, then it is your responsibility to check that the information you provide is accurate and that the other people have given you permission to give their information to us.
When you complete the Payment Details section of the site, we will treat this as your proposal of insurance. You are not insured until you receive confirmation from us that we have accepted your payment and proposal. The decision whether to offer you insurance from WiseChoice is at our discretion. When you take out motor, home and travel insurance with WiseChoice we will make your schedule, policy booklet, Your Agreement with WiseChoice Services Limited and, for motor insurance, your Certificate of Insurance available electronically. Additionally, you can opt to receive these documents in the post. You should keep a copy of all information submitted to and/or received from us for your own records.
JURISDICTION
If you live in England or Wales, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate on any dispute between us. If you live in Scotland, the courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate on any dispute between us.
2. Compensation Arrangements
WiseChoice Services Limited, WiseChoice Insurance Limited, UK Insurance Limited, DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company, CIGNA Europe Insurance Company S.A-N.V., AXA Assistance (UK) Limited, Arc Legal Assistance Limited and AWP P&C SA are all covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
In the unlikely event that any firm providing insurance goes out of business or into liquidation, you may be entitled to compensation from the scheme. Generally the FSCS may arrange to transfer a policy to another insurer, provide a new policy or, if these actions are not possible, provide compensation.
